asking for all boldness

What should someone who has been arrested for evangelism pray for?  Additional boldness seems to be the biblical answer.  What I find to be particularly blessing in Acts 4 is that God doesn’t delay answering this request.  Verse 31 conveys that powerfully; there’s a physical manifestation of the supernatural and a spiritual effect on believers and their witness.
acts 4:29-31
, “29 And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness, 30 while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” 31 And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.”

one last sunday…

may 6th 2012 will be my last sunday at ncc.  i don’t know what to feel, to be honest.  she’s a church i’ve grown to love and loved to grow…  it’s been a breathtaking ride which at times has been emotionally difficult.  i’m leaving with mixed feelings; not because of the circumstances, for  they were perfect in God’s sovereign plan, but because i’m sad to leave such a church, excited for whatever the next season of ministry will be, and preoccupied because there are many unknowns… financial, how long before anything even happens.

HEART STIRRING

For the last few seasons, God has been stirring new ambitions and visions.  I wonder though if these are from Him or from me.  I think You are calling me to abandon my life into your hands and trust you FULLY and COMPLETELY again…
